The answer is no. You might get no results from failing to follow
instructions, but not the wrong results. I believe that the concern over
eating is that there would be reduced number of cells available for
scraping, resulting in a need for another sample.

That's something I realize I might have to do.
My question, more to the point, is: if a testee does not follow the
directions faithfully while gathering the DNA sample, would it alter the
results?
Such as eating right before scraping?
Could they harvest the DNA through other substances?
Would you get false DYS values?
