The top haplotype seems like rather normal I1a. The bottom one looks like
J2, but I have not stared at other haplogroups like I have at I1a ones.
We have 25 results and FTDNA estimated that 23 of those were R1b. However,
they didn't even make a guess with these two. That lead me to conclude these
results didn't easily fit into a haplogroup. My Brewer group has two that are
estimated to be I, and one that FTDNA did not offer an opinion on. I think Grant
South offered his interpretation of it as an I1c. It seems FTDNA doesn't
guess unless they are pretty certain.
