Do you mean the individual members of the Latter Day Saints receive tax
deductions on the expensives they entail in investigating their genealogy? Can
an individual member of the Mormon church, for instance, claim the purchase of
a genealogical book as a deduction by claiming it's use as a religious
pursuit? I doubt that other denominations can do this.
