David, mine are not large databases, but this yellow MOORE group is well
documented. Two of the lines are those of my Co-Administrators of the DNA
Project. They are pretty certain that the Thomas Moore, born 1720 in VA is the
common ancestor but can't prove it.

The next one is my French line. This is not the official website, but one
that I made for my matches. The one with the two CDY mutations is my line.
We can't find our common ancestor, but my line was in NC by 1748 and the other
two were in NJ.

I would be interested to hear from others on this subject - those who have
access to large and diverse databases with well documented genealogies.
