I've just started getting this list, and you are all way ahead of me in
terms of knowledge. Can someone recommend good books or websites where I
can get up to speed?

My brother participated in the LINDSAY DNA project run by Ron Lindsay,
and I am hoping we can use the information gained to learn more about
our Lindsey line.

I am also interested in mitochondrial DNA to research the female line,
which we've traced back to a Mary (Polly) Revel in North Carolina and
Georgia in the early 1800s. Is there a large mt-DNA database out there?
