Or perhaps an invasion, with the distribution a result of rapine along the
route? Any associated mtDNA results? mtDNA distribution, geographically
correlated with the Y results, might indicate whether there were a
significant number of women along. The presence of a colocal swath of
particular mtDNA types would tend to indicate a migration; the absence of
one a military incursion. Is there a G2 reservoir (I don't have The Map),
and if so, are there particular mtDNA types in high concentration within
that reservoir, and do they show up in similar concentration along the G2
corridor?
