If someone has a 14, 23, 14, 15 haplotype at DYS 19, 390, 385a,b; he has a
higher probability of having blue eyes and fair hair than someone with a
I1b2 modal haplotype. It's about correlations between the genes. Although
the Y chromosome has nothing to do with these phenotypic attributes, for
various reasons it is often correlated with presence of genes on other
chromosomes which do control such attributes.
