There was also a very small tribe who lived in the area of present day
Christian county, MO who had light skin especially in the Winter. They had
reputedly had no precontact. They lived up and down both sides of the Finlay
River in tepees "strung out like a string of pearls". They were so peaceful,
early settlers traded them out of their land for objects of little value and
they just moved on down around where present day Branson,MO is now. I hope
some of their descendants owned land there when the real estate boom hit.
