Their information in the faq's is a mix of two of the well known
established testing companies who shall remain nameless.

At one point they talk about:
"Q. How much does it cost and is there any fee for using GeneBase?
A. The cost for testing your Y DNA is $199 for the full 44 markers.
You can also choose to test individual markers at $5.99 per marker.
The minimum number of markers is 20 markers for a price of $119.80.
You are welcome to pick and choose which one of the 44 markers that
you would like tested. This feature is especially useful for those
individuals who previously had a lower resolution test conducted
elsewhere and need to add additional markers to their existing
markers without having to retest the markers that they have already
previously tested."

Yet, if you try to sign up you are offered the choices of
a 12, 25 or 37 marker test.

Bizarre!

The turn around time in the answer to the last question does not
surprise me. I have had between 1 to 3 week turnaround from the
company that is based in England whose initials are D.H. and shall
otherwise remain nameless.
