I posed the question of P verses Q Celtic DNA off this site a few weeks ago to a fellow poster. He
rightly pointed out that language and DNA are too seperate things. But, since P & Q are, in effect, a
differentiation of Welsh verses Irish/Scottish, I find it interesting that R1b's with 391/10 seem less
common in Wales compared to the rest of Britian. This is based on the Capelli database. Hardly
extensive research, I know. Still, if P and Q came to the isles at different times like most believe, then it
seems possible to me that they might also have been genetically different.
