I just received the Y-DNA results (below) for my son-in-law from FTDNA.
FTDNA estimates that he is R1b.

But he has no matches at either 12 or 25 markers, which I find surprising.
The closest match at Ysearch is a genetic distance of four at 25 markers.
He is DKHKG at Ysearch.

Is there anything about these results that rings a bell with anyone? His
family lineage paper trail goes back to Germany
