I think splitting the list into two separate lists, one for conventional
genealogy and one for deep rooted genealogy (or anthropology) would be
beneficial, particularly for those interested in convention genealogy who I
believe may be overwhelmed by the volume of mail discussing deep rooted
genealogy.

Hopefully there would be some way to refer people on one list to the other,
through tag lines or using the digest Administrivia. For example on the
conventional genealogy list you might say something like "for discussion of
deep rooted genealogy subscribe to the XXXXXXX-DNA list".
