Martha:

Terry Barton is trying to provide a dedicated website like what you
describe. See:
http://www.worldfamilies.net/

The debate is not about beginner vs. advanced. It is about two Lists
with different "topic" focuses for the use of DNA testing. One focused
on using DNA testing to aid traditional genealogical research which was
the original purpose of this list, which is why the word GENEALOGY is
first in the List name, i.e., GENEALOGY-DNA, and which is so stated in
the "topic" description for this List ..... and whether we now need a
second List to serve those whose main interest is Ancient Ancestry /
Deep Ancestry / Anthropological uses of DNA testing to sort out people
and tribes for time periods before surnames were adopted.
