Good question>

I'm upgrading my Ysearch data with Sorenson results & I assumed that Ysearch
expects the FTDNA variety of DYS463, but I'm not certain.

I expect Max or Bennett to chime in ...

I added this marker's larger NIST-compliant value to my Ysearch record rather
than the lower-by-two value that is used by DNA Heritage and Ybase. (That
is, I posted the value 24 for DYS463 rather than 22.) Is this consistent
with what others on this list have done when they posted extra markers to
Ysearch?

Would Max or Bennett care to make a comment about FTDNA's position on
DYS463? Their firm does not test for it, but they include it in Ysearch and
may have an idea about how it should be handled. Some of the posted values
in Ysearch for this marker probably originated from DNA Heritage, and some
probably originated from Sorenson. I suspect there is an inconsistent mix of
values for this marker in Ysearch.
