Actually, it would save $40.00, the way I understand things to order your Y test from FTDNA first, then as an existing participant you can order the low resolution mtDNA test for $89.00 instead of $129.00. The group price for first time tests are priced $129.00. The group price for a high resolution mtDNA test is $159.00, instead of $189.00 for persons with a sample already stored at FTDNA. You should be able to do this as soon as your personal page is set up.
