Three obvious contenders are 13 24 14 11, 13 24 14 10 and the 25, 11, 14
groups. Some O'Neill supporters (Byrne) assert that the O'Neill lineage was
of Conn descent but Colla not. Looking at O'Neill, O'Cahan, O'Rourke of
Breffny it is very very difficult if not impossible to determine Neill's
original markers. At least one irish genetic expert has privately suggested
that Neill should be named Neill of the Nine Lineages rather than Neill of
the Nine Hostages because of the contrasting genetic alternatives. Until
someone can get Hugo O Neill of Portugal(the O'Neill) and O'Connor Don to
test, we don't have the most important lineages nailed down. If those two
men were consistent we would have a basis to compare against the 13 24 14 10
of the Maguire chief line and could more intelligently talk.

Maybe Conn is the guy with the 25/11/14 (DYS 390,391,392) haplotype who
enhanced a robust cluster within R1b?
