I think that makes sense -- and I also think that recombinatorial DNA could
explain why you and your brother got different %s -- you aren't (necessarily)
going to inherit the same bits and pieces of autosomal DNA, as I understand
it. So one of you could have inherited a larger portion of bits from the one
(or two) ancestral lines than from the others.

And of course, always keeping in mind that 25% is within a confidence
range....
