Ray

Read what you responded to which simply stated what written history tells us
is...

The make up of the ancient population of Rome is something that was written
about at the time.

CORRECT!

"Written history is not only conjecture."

I wasn't aware that your personal musings about the genetic make-up of
ancient Rome and modern Italy amounted to "written history."

"Or do you doubt that Rome was ever a capital city of the Med?"

IRRELEVANT!
