I just checked on my MTDNA transfer from yesterday and there is a voluntary
choice to enter country of origin information for each parent and
grandparent but I saw no pedigree area.

I was wondering if someone on this list, who has transferred their Y-DNA
information from FTDNA to the NGS Project, could tell me exactly what
information is passed along. It is my understanding that the only
information is your 12-marker STR results. Is this correct or is there
other information as well, such a pedigree information or county of origin.

Thank you,
John
