Actually, at that time, they did allow joining two projects, but had some
problems with it. I suppose they couldn't get their automatic program to keep up
with both results, so they removed all the doubles. I know because I had
some of my results in two projects.

Perhaps a fresh effort/request with Max & Bennett would help. I know I'm
repeating, but 18 months ago, Bennett saw no disagreement between the FTDNA
charter/mission & multiple memberships; he told me it was simply a database
administration complication, and fairly easily solved. At that time FTDNA
see much demand for it - probably still don't.
