Subject: Markers 26-37, What is their significance? 25/11/14

I recently had my DNA test expanded from 25 markers to 37. Prior to the test my closest match was a McGovern and we had a 24/25 match. We only differed on 458 where I was a 19 and he was 18.
Yesterday I received the results from the 37 marker test. There are now 4 additional markers each with a value difference of one (from 26-37). Does there still appear to be a likely connection if we go back 600 years or more? He is still my closest match for 37 markers.
Both of us are of the distinct R1b variety 25/11/14.
Thanks for your thoughts,
