Subject: CNN item RE: genetic influence on late-age childbearing
Date: Fri, 24 Jun 2005 21:40:49 -0400 has an interesting article on the web about "Genes may hold key to late motherhood". The story originated in Copenhagen by Reuters and cites a Dr. Laufer of Hadassah University Hospital in Jerusalem. They used "gene chip technology" in their study, and I'm wondering what gene chip technology is? Also in the study were Ashkenazi Jews, and Bedouin women who were found to have children late in life.

At, click on Health on the left side of screen. In the lower left corner at the bottom is the link "motherhood inching later in life". Fascinating stuff.
