Thus I am led to assume that for the Genographic Project they will be using SRY10831.2 and not M17 for "R1a"; and P25 and not M269 for "R1b". Pity since it will be difficult or impossible to compare their findings with the current research literature (e.g., Cinnioglu, 2004).
