I think they are testing M343 for R1b, which is even one step further up
the ladder than P25. At any rate that's the one they feature in the
dispersion maps.

Thus I am led to assume that for the Genographic Project they will be using
SRY10831.2 and not M17 for "R1a"; and P25 and not M269 for "R1b". Pity
since it will be difficult or impossible to compare their findings with the
current research literature (e.g., Cinnioglu, 2004).
