This is my first attempt at posting my news. I have now received
back my Fathers' DNA results for 25 markers and then went ahead and
ordered the SNP test to confirm his Haplogroup (G). I don't see
much written about (G). My interests started with the Genealogy end
of this science but I find it all intriguing, ancient migration,
anthropology, etc. I am having the MTDNAplus on my Father tested and
also having my Daughter's DNA being analyzed in the NGS Genographic
Project (no results on that yet).

I mostly lurk and have learned much that way, have purchased some
suggested books for study, but I am not a Scientist. So, I am just
asking for lenience and understanding when I get around to asking
what would seem to be some very ignorant questions.
