If one actually has Excel available to work with, it's very good at
importing and exporting in other formats. I've got several spreadsheets
that I've snagged out of here and there, and I've taken Excel spreadsheets
and written them out as HTML for web sites. This includes some of my
Civil War databases, which are huge.
