Robert, Thank you for the tabulation of Iberian R1b; this will be a useful
reference list for us who are trying to discern patterns in European R1b.
I want to point out the 23/11/13/13 form which I spend the most time on
lately. It is ranked 4th in Iberia and accounts for less than 1/7 the
amount that 24/11/13/13 represents. In Denmark and some of the Netherlands
regions 23/11/13/13 exceeds 24/11/13/13 in presence. That's why over a year
ago I called 23/11/13/13 a R1b variety of "Greater Frisia".
On the other hand, the fraction of R1b which is 24/10/13/13 does not change
that much from Iberia to northern Europe and into the British Isles.

Subject: [DNA] Iberian R1b marker combinations
List:
There has been recent discussion about Y-DNA marker combinations used to
identify an Irish modal haplotype. Using DYS 390, 391, 392, 393 marker
values it is thought that the values of 25, 11, 14, 13 seem to indicate
Irish ancestry. After looking at some studies, I was curious what the values
for Hispanics might show. Out of 309 Hispanic (Iberian) haplotypes these are
the results I came up with for over 90% of them. The remaining "other"
combinations are all under 1% each.
These are for Haplogroup R1b
390-391-392-393 (Quantity or Percent)
24-11-13-13 (144 or 46.60%)
24-10-13-13 (50 or 16.18%)
25-11-13-13 (21 or 6.80%)
23-11-13-13 (19 or 6.15%)
23-10-13-13 (7 or 2.27%)
25-10-13-13 (7 or 2.27%)
24-11-13-14 (6 or 1.94%)
24-11-12-13 (5 or 1.62%)
24-11-13-12 (5 or 1.62%)
24-11-15-13 (5 or 1.62%)
23-11-13-14 (4 or 1.29%)
24-10-13-12 (4 or 1.29%)
24-11-14-13 (4 or 1.29%)
Total = 90.94%
