FDNA reported 15-16-16-16; DNA-FP reported 15c-15.3g-16c-16c.

If you look at the DNA-FTP's electropherogram for my result, located at:

(image 9/10)
It is pretty easy to see why "different" results were reported for me.

If you look at the top line, with c- and g-types combined, the 15.3 is not clearly distinguishable, it just makes a bit of a "hump" on the left shoulder of the triple peak for 16. This would have been all FTDNA saw, and given that, a call of 15-16-16-16 would be the correct one.

However with the 15.3g (middle trace) separated from the double 16c peak (bottom trace), it is clear that the g-type value is 15.3, not 16.
