The obvious reply is: well, then, go ahead and upload your data. The
log at present has a total of only 14,000 mutation opportunities
(transmissions times markers) represented in the 12-marker panel.
That makes it less than a quarter of the size of the YHRD "meta-study"
comprising the various reported father-son results.

Here's a bit of statistics. 1% of the log's 12-marker "power" is made
of families with 6 or fewer transmissions; 11% is from families with
12 or fewer transmissions; 20% is from families with 24 or fewer. As
far as I can tell, the average mutation rate for the smaller family
studies is not significantly different from the overall average.
