If perchance your "match" was S21 negative then all would fall apart (you being S21+). If positive it strenghens your hypothesis.

Yes, Z84BR is a 34/37 match to me. He and I communicate a lot and we are
convinced that we are related within the last 300-500 years but we have not
been able to find the MRCA yet.
