One has to be careful here. Is this "genetic distance" 7 because
7 markers differ by one, or are there some with multiple steps?
If teh latter is true ... are these multiple step differences on
markers known to be prone to multiple steps in one event, such as
CDY or 464? One should count these as infinite alleles.
