It will be a real loss if you pass up the M284 subclade test for I1c1; it is
not included in some packages for the major haplogroup but is the important
SNP for determining where your haplotype actually resides in the I tree. If
you are positive for M284 you are also positive for M223. If negative, then
you can test for M223 if you want to confirm your I1c.
