Bill,
FTDNA has put the haplogroup K back--still don't know how everything got
messed up. Here is what FTDNA gave as a reason why my brother (7QMWP) lacked the
224T:

"Your particular results just didn't have that mutation and that separates
you from those other individuals who do, it just means that you do not share a
common female ancestor with those individuals more recently.It is possible
that the line had a mutation that mutated back to so as not to appear as a
mutation, but the test cannot show that this is the case definitively."

I'm not sure I know any more than before. Any ideas?
