Is there an H1b mtDNA group? If so, I'd like to join. I've seen other
matches from Macedonia, Bulgaria, Finland, Scotland, and Iceland, and
several from Olso and Estonia. Anywhere else? There is supposed to be a 5%
match between the Balkans and Finland/Estonia. Curious about this
pan-European type geo-origin that supposedly originated in Sweden on the
Baltic coast. Thanks. Any others similar? I've not found any matches on the
HVS 2, but many on HVS 1.
This line has male sides that are almost all R1b with origins in Essex,
England back to 1568 comprised of the descendants of Walter Palmer (1583)
via Vera Dell Palmer's relationship to Walter Palmer's sixth son, Gersham
through his second wife, Rebecca Short on the female side and Deacon Stephen
Hart (1605) of Essex on the male side.
I'm curious about the origin of the H1b line. Is there a link to Saami or
Estonian/Volga Finnic here? Just curious.
