just came across a ad in Family Tree Magazaine for Chromosomal
Laboratories (http://www.chromosomal-labs.com). They are "giving away"
(for postage costs y-chromosome and mittochondrial posters. I looked at
what they offered, which include 19 STR's for $145 and a haplogroup test
for $145, but they do not specify the markers offered or the depth of the
SNP tests. Is anyone familiar with this lab? It looks like they offer a
range of paternity, maternity, other kinship, canine [!] and other tests
and may have only recently gotten into the genealogy business.
Forgive me if I missed a previous discussion about this lab.
FYI
I have no experience with this lab, but I did email them when this post came
out and tonight I have received a response
" Attached please find a short technical bulletin that summarizes the makers
in this profile. Please note that this list contains 17 markers, not 19. We
are in the process of augmenting this list with DYS 388 and DYS 426 and
should be available shortly. "
