John and list,
I did a look at the M5UKQ at y -search that you mentioned. Maybe you can
clarify for me what's going on. I see that FTDNA uses 49 markers for their
report. Somehow I am unaware of them having a 49 marker test? I certainly
would have ordered that for my uncle and myself. I don't see it in the
price list. I also see that The Trinity Study uses a much smaller set and
they have posted a result of 10 at DYS461, while FTDNA uses a result of 12 .
My uncle varies only at DYS460 by one, [12 instead of 11] in the Trinity
Study for the markers he has. He is missing DYS 434,435,436, and 461 which
are not in the FTDNA Y-37 test.He has close matches with the people you
listed, not exact but 1 off. I didn't check every name. At the end of each
line you have 25/0 . I assume that means exact at first 25, does that fall
off at 37 ? Thanks.
Dont just search. Find. Check out the new MSN Search!
