The raw numbers from DNA-FP are designed to identify you uniquely out
of the entire world population. They are the results of a standard
set of markers that are widely known and used for identity checking
and paternity testing and such. The DNAprint markers, however, are
a proprietary set. The web site reveals the true names of a few,
but most are secret and therefore difficult to use in any other
context.
