Having received my DNA Tribes autosomal results indicating
a Chinese (8) component, I am now considering cross-checking
that with DNA Print's 2.5, which gives both East Asian and
Native American percentages.

BUT, my question relates to the extended 1.0 test
(which is cheaper if ordered simultaneously),
which detects any Middle Eastern component.

Has anyone observed a correlation between a
Middle Eastern positive result and Jewish ancestry?
In other words, is it worth ordering the extended test
to try to detect Ashkenazic heritage?

There is also an indication of newer, better, and
more expensive tests in development. Does anyone
know the particulars?
