Subject: Re: R1b Analysis, EA, etc, was [DNA] "Hotspots"?
Date: Sun, 5 Feb 2006 23:01:47 EST
In a message dated 2/5/2006 7:34:52 P.M. Eastern Standard Time,
I specifically want to make
mention of the fact that the R1b subclade SNPs have to be very old and
far predate any events of the last 2000-4000 years
If the R1b subclades are 2000-4000 years old it seems they won't be much
help in identifying where we came from in 1600 or 1500 and only tell us where
our DNA was 4000 years ago still a nice to know item but not a useful tool in
genealogy research for an immigrants location. What do you think about this
staement by John McEwan?
