The most important decision regarding testing companies is which company has a
suitable project for your surname. So, yes, the Clan Donnachaidh project at
FTDNA, which includes ROBERTSON, would be an appropriate choice. One other
consideration is to go to the project's web site, in this case:
http://www.donnachaidhinternational.com/
and see if you think the project there is explained well, if the results are
intelligible, and whether it appears the administrator is making an effort to
get the most out of the testing results for its members.
And, yes, you will receive a copy of the results. Actually, if you join any
FTDNA project, you will have a private member page at the FTDNA web site, where
you can view results, matches, and other features and options, including keeping
your contact information updated.
