If you take all of the Americas, both North and South, quite possibly so.
North America alone I'd guess that the majority are R1b, due to the
predominance of European ancestry (both the obvious sort and admixed into
Afro-Americans and Hispanics - a large percentage of both are admixed
European, and that tends to show up preferentially in the male line for
sociological reasons.) Second in North America would probably be R1a or
I. Why?
