I don't know whether all versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader are the same, but
the tool bar in mine shows a magnifying glass. I click on that (which changes
the cursor to a magnifying glass), then click anywhere on the text. I also have
another section of the toolbar where I can type in the magnification I want
(e.g. 200%). Also, the View item on the menu bar gives keyboard shortcuts for
zooming (Ctrl + and Ctrl -). Hey, I never used those -- might come in handy
sometime :)
