Subject: 6 new XSTR markers

"DNA Fingerprint has just released 6 new XSTR markers that can be ordered:

DXS6807, DXS7132, DXS7423, DXS10074, DXS10075 and DXS10079

The triplett of linked XSTR (DXS10074, DXS10075 and DXS10079) markers is
very interesting for complex kinship analysis. The markers DXS7132, DXS981 and
ARA are also in the same linkage group. DXS10069 is also not too far away to
expect a certain degree of linkage. This gives us much hope to start
databasing XSTR quasi-haplotypes and expand DNA genealogy outside the direct male and
female lines."

I am not advertising for DNA-Fingerprint, just curious if any one has any
comments on this posting.
