You rarely if ever get the deepest, most downstream SNP tests from FTDNA,
yet many people go that way first and ask questions later. In R1b you
probably want the S series SNPs offered by Ethnoancestry. M222 is supposed
to be offered by FTDNA as well as Ethnoancestry, and is relevant if you have
Irish roots. Do you have a M222 result?
There are nothing deeper in R1b right now than the S-series SNPs developed
by Ethnoancestry.
