Just a short comment on the 4 definitely new FTDNA markers DYS450,
DYS568, DYS617 and DYS640:

All markers are single copy and contsist only of AT basepairs in the
repeat region (weak bonds)
DYS 617 is probably the most variant one. DYS568 and DYS640 are probably
quite stable.

DYS450
Single copy pentarepeat
Structure: (TTTTA)9-TTTCA-TTTTA-TA-(TTTTA)5
Range: 356-371 bp (4 different alleles)
Location Yp11.2

DYS568
Single copy tetrarepeat
Structure: (AAAT)10-12
Range: 10-12 repeats
Kayser reports: R=11, I=11, J=11, E=12
Location: Yp11.1

DYS617
Single copy trinucleotiderepeat
Structure: (TAA)12-17
Range: 12-17 repeats
Kayser reports: R=17, I=13, J=12, E=13
Location: Yq11.22

DYS640
Single copy tetranucleotide repeat
Structure: (AAAT)11-12
Range: 11-12 repeats
Kayser reports: R=11, I=11, J=12, E=12
Location Yq11.221

Btw.: Anyone know how to search this database?
