When you're ready to order more markers you might consider
DNA-Fingerprint too as you can order individual markers with them. Their
web site is at: http://www.dna-fingerprint.com/ ... Also DNA-Fingerprint
offers up to 50% discounts in batch orders. Anne Nelson on this list
handles batch orders for DNA-FP. Her email address is: . I
think the next batch order closes on 15 June and it is at the 40%
discount rate at this time....
I ordered DYS413 with DNA-FP because DYS413<18+ defines J2a1. Also I
ordered DYS445 (not avaliable from FTDNA) because DYS445 <= 7 defines
J2a1k. Other useful markers for the J group are DYS438 and DYS461
(DYS461 is not available the from FTDNA) and of course FTDNA's, and the
Genographic Project's, original 12 marker set, plus YCAII, DYS464,
DYS449, ..., the list goes on :-)
