Hi Marilyn,

I haven't done it, but I've heard of it being done, and I've heard it's been
very successful. But you can get kits without paying for them. FTDNA simply
won't process the kit until payment is received. I would telephone FTDNA and
tell them what you're planning.

I had a project member take six un-paid-for kits with him on a vacation to
Europe; he got takers for all of them.
