I have now added the observed variances or average squared differences (ASD) for most of the major varieties within y haplogroup I to the spreadsheet in www.northwestanalysis.net

They are normalized to "1" which is the ASD standard for the basic I1a-AS population. In other words, a variety with an ASD of .7 has 70 percent of the ASD of the standard. This means in theory that this population is 70 percent of the age (since founding) of the standard population.
