I took some inspiration from the McGees yDNA Utilities
(http://www.mymcgee.com/tools/yutility.html) and came up with mtDNAtools

(http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~glad/dna/mtdnatool.html) to
compute genetic distances between lists of HVR1 and 2 mutations. It takes
lists cut and pasted from Mitosearch or FTDNA and calculates genetic
distances and will also generate Fluxus .rdf files for doing phylogenic
trees. You can see an example of the output used at X Project page at FTDNA

I'm looking some brave souls to try it and provide feedback on its utility,
bugs, and any ideas for other things it should do. Please be gentle, this is
my first attempt at javascript.
