I think that some of us are looking at this wrong. Here is some info from
the Blakely project "Unreceived Lab Results":

Product Lab Test Batch
1) Y-Refine37to67 Y-DNA61-67 Markers Batch 145
2) Y-Refine37to67 Y-DNA38-47 Markers Batch 150

1)Is me, I have been provided markers 38-60 by email from FTDNA, 61-67 in
retest
2)I expect his 48-67 are in and waiting for 38-47 are in retest

If there are 3 panels to this test as expected:
Panel 1 is 38 to 47
Panel 2 is 48 to 60
Panel 3 is 61 to 67

It is clearly a software glitch.

My project has 8 different orders for the 30 new markers. Batch numbers are
146, 146, 149, 155, 157, 158, 159, 160. All of them, without exception, are
now listed as "Y-DNA38-47 Markers".

This is why it certainly *looks* like FTDNA has unilaterally reduced the
number of markers from 30 to 10. I cannot believe that that has actually
happened, of course.
